Implant dentistry, Seattle

A missing tooth, replaced for good.

One implant, planned on a 3D scan and placed by a specialist. Most patients finish in 3 to 6 months.

The crownThe part you see. Made of porcelain and matched to your other teeth.
The abutmentA small connector that joins the crown to the post below the gum.
The titanium postTakes the place of the root. Titanium bonds with bone, so it stays put.
Your jawboneGrows around the post over 3 to 4 months and holds it like a natural root.
Your timeline

Four visits across three to six months.

You see the plan and the price before we place anything. Most people are back at work the next day.

Questions

What people ask before booking.

Does it hurt?

Placement is done under local anesthetic, so you feel pressure, not pain. Most people manage soreness for two to three days with over-the-counter medicine.

Am I too old for an implant?

There is no upper age limit. Good general health and enough bone matter more than your age, and we check both at your scan.

What if I do not have enough bone?

A bone graft can rebuild it. It adds a few months to the timeline, and we show it on your scan so you see the plan.

How long will it last?

The titanium post can last a lifetime with good care. The porcelain crown usually lasts 15 years or more and can be replaced on its own.

Will my insurance help?

Many plans cover part of the crown or the extraction. We check your benefits before your consult and give you the numbers in writing.
